1. Grant of use
Section titled “1. Grant of use”Subject to the terms below, you may use the Plume3D engine (including runtime, tools, and Blender addon as provided) to create, run, and distribute your own games and applications. You retain all rights to your game content, scripts (e.g. Wren code), assets, and any work you create with the engine. You may ship your product with the engine runtime as permitted by the distribution terms you receive with the engine.
2. Proprietary software
Section titled “2. Proprietary software”The Plume3D engine is proprietary software. You may not:
- copy, modify, or create derivative works of the engine (in whole or in part),
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the engine (except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law),
- sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise distribute the engine itself, or
- remove or alter any proprietary or license notices in or on the engine or its documentation.
The engine is provided in binary (and/or other forms) as made available to you. You do not receive access to engine source code or version control.
3. No warranty
Section titled “3. No warranty”THE ENGINE AND DOCUMENTATION ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL WYLDMAGIC OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE ENGINE OR USE OF IT.
4. Third-party software
Section titled “4. Third-party software”The engine incorporates third-party software under their respective open-source or other licenses. Your use of the engine may also be subject to those licenses. The following components (or portions of the engine that use them) are included for reference; the list may be updated with new builds:

Optional or app-level components (e.g. SDL3_image) may be used in some builds; their licenses apply where used.
Full license texts for these components are available from their upstream projects. Compliance with their terms is your responsibility when you use or distribute the engine or your product.
